Plus Size Brand: Zizzi Event

Wenn meine lieben Berliner Designerfreunde unter sich sind, höre ich öfters in abendlichen, gemütlichen Küchengesprächen Aussprüche wie, dass der Blick zurück der Tod der Mode sei, sie müsse sich vorwärts entwickeln. Schließlich ist es der Wandel, der die Mode heute immer noch begehrenswert macht, nicht die Wiederholung.

Wenn es  also  in der Mode darum gehen soll, Begehren zu wecken, dann hat Zizzi bei der Präsentation in Kopenhagen auch in dieser Saison offensichtlich  wieder alles richtig gemacht:
So viel Applaus wie an diesem Abend hörte man erstaunlich selten bei den Fashion Shows, die ich bisher in meinem Leben besucht habe.
Ich bin von der Firma Zizzi eingeladen worden, nach Kopenhagen zu kommen, um mir die beste Plus Size Fashion Show anzusehen, die ich je gesehen habe. Vielleicht habt Ihr den Grund meiner Reise ins schöne Dänemark schon in meinem Artikel über den Kopenhagen-Streetsyle gelesen?

Zuallererst möchte ich sagen, dass man bei Zizzi in dieser Saison noch mutiger geworden ist. Die Show war wirklich so professionell, wie viele von uns das in der Plus Size Szene sich immer wünschen. Das muss ich hier leider so deutlich betonen, weil es wirklich  sehr selten ist, eine gute Modenschau im große Größen-Segment zu sehen. Aber das ist ein anderes Thema…Wenn ihr dazu einen Artikel lesen möchtet, teilt mir das gerne mit!

Das Thema in diesem Jahr war bei Zizzi “Fashion Has No Size.” Der Tag begann am Nachmittag mit einem  Blogger-Event.Es war wirklich schön,herrliches Essen und eine liebevolle Auswahl an Blumen.Das ganze Team hat eine angenehme Atmosphäre kreiert.Mit all den internationalen Bloggern über die Kollektion zu plaudern, war sehr interessant.
Das Spannende an diesem Blogger-Event war, dass uns tatsächlich die gesamte Kollektion präsentiert wurde.Das Zizzi-Team und ihre Designer haben  uns die Kollektion  mit den verschiedenen Styles gezeigt. Da gibt es Einiges, worauf Ihr Euch freuen könnt.

Für “Ahs” und “Ohs” sorgte das, was dann gezeigt wurde, die Kollektion “Wardrobe of Wonders”, abgekürzt mit “W.O.W”.
Bei dieser Präsentation saß die von mir sehr geschätzte Blogger-Kollegin Edith Domen neben mir und Sie sagte sehr treffend über diese Kollektion:”The plus Size Orgasm .”

Wir waren alle begeistert von dem Gezeigten. Die Kollektion ist in Zusammenarbeit mit “Femmes Regionales” entstanden. Ich hoffe, dass diese Arbeitsbeziehung der beiden Firmen noch weiter bestehen bleibt. Ab März nächsten Jahres wird diese Kollektion erhältlich sein.

Was ich wirklich liebe, ist die Tatsache, dass hier nicht einzig und allein daran gedacht wurde, dünner auszusehen und zu kaschieren, wie so oft, sondern die Option gegeben wird, die eigene Lust an Mode ausleben zu können. Vielleicht fragt Ihr Euch, warum ich das so sehr betone? Für diejenigen unter Euch, die keine Übergrössen tragen, mag das vielleicht merkwürdig sein, alle anderen jedoch wissen genau, was ich meine. Es ist leider nicht selbstverständlich, dass eine Plus-Size-Marke wenig Unterschiede zu normalen Größen macht bei dem Entwerfen der Kleidung. Zizzi hat eine  Kollektion entworfen, mit guten Passformen am Puls der Zeit, die Spaß an Mode weckt. Die Kollektion hat mir das Gefühl gegeben, sie könnte aus den Internationalen Modemagazinen sein. Zugleich auch durch minimale 50er Jahre-Anleihen, wie bei einer nach Chanel anmutenden Bouclet-Jacke mit Metallhänger.

Am Abend wurde dann die Kollektion vorgeführt. Das Tolle ist, dass es so viele verschiedene Optionen gibt, die Teile aus  der  Kollektion von Zizzi miteinander zu stylen. Wirklich jede kann hier etwas finden. Die Spannbreite reicht von sehr femininen Teilen, wie das angeführte Bouclet-Jäckchen, über sportlich, luxuriös bis hin zu romantischen Teilen in Pastelltönen. Florales und Monochromes sind wichtige Themen für den nächsten Frühling. Die Teile der “Wordrobe of Woanders”-Kollektion funktionieren sowohl als Komplettstyle als auch einzeln für sich oder einfach mit den eigenen teilen aus dem Kleiderschrank.Die Farbgebung der Kollektion zeigt sich floral, Pastell und in etwas dunkleren Navytönen.

Die After Show Party war auch sehr gut organisiert. Ich kann nur sagen, danke Zizzi für dieses perfekt organisierte Event und danke für die Einladung.
Ich wünsche mir, dass es auch in Deutschland endlich all diese tollen Sachen online zu kaufen gibt. Momentan bekommen wir hier leider nicht alles online. Ich bin aber zuversichtlich, da wird sich bald einiges tun, wenn Zizzi weiter so wie bisher mit Siebenmeilenschritten voran schreitet.
Zizzi hat sich unglaublich weiter entwickelt. ich kann nur sagen, freut euch auf die Kollektion, sie ist wirklich Fashion !!
Ich hoffe, dass die Einkäufer so mutig sein werden, viele Teile der Kollektion zu kaufen.

Zizzi “Fashion Has No Size”

When my lovely Berlin designer friends get together, I often hear during cosy evening conversations in the kitchen, that looking backwards will be the death of fashion. One should always look forward. After all, it is change that makes fashion still desirable today, not constant repetition.  So if fashion’s aim is to arounse desire, then Zizzi has done everything right – as its presentation in Copenhagen this season obviously clearly showed. I have rarely heard so much applause at a fashion show, as I did this evening.

I was invited by the Zizzi to come to Copenhagen. And I ended up seeing the best plus-size fashion show I’ve ever seen. Perhaps you have already had the chance Maybe you have read my article on Copenhagen Streetstyle for the reason for my trip to beautiful Denmark?
I would first like to say that it has become even bolder at Zizzi this season. The show was really so professional, like many of us always want that in the plus size scene. I must emphasize here unfortunately so much, because it really is very rare to see a great fashion show in large size segment. But that’s another topic … If you would like to read an article, I shall inform the like with!

The theme at this year’s Zizzi event was “Fashion Has No Size”. The day began in the afternoon with a blogger event. It was really nice; there was great food and a lovely selection of flowers. The whole team had created a pleasant atmosphere, and what with all the international bloggers, conversations and chat about the collections was very interesting.
The exciting thing about this blogger event was that we were actually presented the entire collection.
The Zizzi team and their designers showed us the various styles in the collection. And I can tell you that there are a few things you can look forward to.

The collection “Wardrobe of Wonders” – abbreviated to “WOW” – caused many “aahs” and “oohs”. In this presentation, I much appreciated having fellow blogger Edith Domen, who sat next to me and said very aptly that this collection was “The Plus Size Orgasm ‘”.

We were all delighted with what was shown. The collection was produced in collaboration with “Femmes Regional“. I hope that this working relationship between the two companies continues!
From March next year, this collection will be available in the shops.

What I really love is the fact that here the sole thought was not, look thinner and to conceal, as so often. Here, one had to option to live out of fashion. Perhaps you wonder why I stress this so much? For those of you who do not wear large sizes, this may perhaps be strange, but everyone else will know exactly what I mean. Unfortunately, it is not self-evident that plus-sizes make little difference to normal sizes when it comes to designing clothes. Zizzi has designed a collection with great fits, timeless designs that put the fun back into fashion.
The collection has given me the feeling that it could be straight out of an international fashion magazine. At the same time, it reminds us of the 1950s, like a Bouclet jacket with metal pendant, Chanel-style.

In the evening, the collection was presented. The great thing is that there are so many different ways of styling style the pieces from the Zizzi collection together. There really is something for everyone here. They range from very feminine pieces, such as the aforementioned Bouclet jackets, and sporty, luxurious and romantic pieces in pastel shades. Floral and monochrome styles are important issues for the next spring collection. The pieces from the “Wardrobe of Wonders” collection function both as a complete set, individually or simply combined with other items of clothing from one’s own wardrobe. The collection colors focus on floral, pastel and darker navy tones.
The after-show party was also very well organized. I can only say thank you to Zizzi for this perfectly organized event. And, of course, thank you for the invitation.

I hope that there will at last be the opportunity to buy all these great things online in Germany. Currently we cannot buy everything online. I am confident however that things will change soon – especially if Zizzi continues to come on in the leaps and bounds it is already making.
Zizzi has evolved incredibly. And I can only say, rejoice in the collection, it really is fashion!!
I hope the buyers will have the courage to buy many pieces from the collection.
