New Love ­ Long Cardigans

Make it simple , but significant! (Don Draper)

Bei mir ist eine neue Liebe ausgebrochen! Ich bin völlig verrückt nach langen Strickjacken und Westen. Es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick bei dieser Strickjacke und mir. Diese tolle Rückenansicht mit den Blumen.

Schwarz und Weiß Kombinationen finde ich sowieso toll. Ich finde, dass Rot, Weiß und Schwarz eine gelungene Farbkombination ist.
Meine Mutter hat immer gesagt, Blumenmuster und Streifen gehen nicht .
Sie hat sicher auf ihre Art und Weise recht damit, aber ich hatte einfach Lust darauf,dieses Streifenhemd mit der Blumen­Strickjacke in einem Outfit zu vereinen.

Das Hemd mutet an Schiedsrichter an und mit dem Baseballcap finde ich mich bestens
gerüstet um zu einem sportiven Event zu gehen. Das Hemd ist leicht transparent. Daher fand ich es schön, die obersten Knöpfe offen zu lassen und mein Spitzentop von Triumph durchschimmern zu lassen.

Bei all den Sportanleihen muss noch etwas Feminines dazu, dachte ich mir.
Der breite Ledergürtel gehört meiner Freundin Geraldine, die so bezaubernd war, diese
Fotos von mir zu machen. Geraldine ist Kostümbildnerin und ihre Wohnung ist ein Quell
an Inspirationen und voller Schätze!

Der Rock ist aus Stretch und das Material ist einfach wunderbar für Kurven, wie ich finde.
Diesen Rock hatte ich auch schon bei einem anderen Outfitpost an, “Red Trenchcoat
Rainy Day“. Er ist von dem Berliner Label Weimann und ist vorne etwas kürzer als hinten.

Ich liebe Caps in allem Farben und Formen. Es gibt einem Outfit oft ein Augenzwinkern, das es manchmal benötigt.

New Love ­ Long Cardigans

A new love has appeared to me! I am completely crazy about long cardigans and vests. It was love at first sight between this cardigan and me. This great back view with the flowers.

Further than this I have always liked Black and White combinations. I also think that combinations between Black and White with Red are always a very classy and successful combination.

My mother always used to say that floral patterns and striped patterns don’t match. She might be right in her way, but I just felt like combining these two patterns together as one outfit.

The shirt reminds me a bit of a referee’s shirt and also with the cap I think I am pretty well prepared for a sportive event. The shirt is slightly transparent. Therefore, I considered it to be nice to have the top buttons opened so that the lace top from Triumph is able to see through .

With all the sportive detailes I felt like I needed to add something feminine.

The wide leather belt belongs to my friend Geraldine who had been so lovely to make these photos of me. Geraldine is a costume designer and her home is a source of inspiration and full of treasures!

The skirt is very stretchy and the material is just wonderful for curves, I think. I had already worn this skirt for my other outfit post  “Red Trenchcoat Rainy Day”. It is from the Berlin label Weimann and is slightly shorter in front that at the back.

I love caps in all colors and shapes. It gives an outfit a kind of a wink, which it sometimes just needs.
